6ix9ine: Prosecutors Recommend No Jail Time

6ix9ine saved his own butt from going to prison by singing like a bird, but what will he do now?

Tekashi 6ix9ine has been locked away in a federal prison for months after being picked up on a slew of charges related to gang activity and the attempted shooting of Chief Keef. News soon hit that ya boy was cooperating with investigators, and the backlash has been pretty severe. Even his own baby mama has been online dissing the rainbow colored rapper.

Now, it appears all that info he passed over to the feds was pretty valuable, as prosecutors have recommended no jail time for him despite his admittance that he ordered the hit by offering tens of thousands of dollars to the alleged shooter.

Given the circumstances, he may need serious protection once he leaves jail, as he has pissed off quite a lot of people. However, that big 69 on his forehead may make it pretty difficult for him to fly under the radar anytime soon.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York issued a statement saying they made a deal to “not to prosecute the defendant for the crimes set forth in Counts One through Nine…. as well as additional crimes that the defendant has told the government about,” according to court documents outlining the plea deal. The statement continued, saying that “Should the defendant successfully cooperate, the government agrees that it will file at the time of sentencing a motion… for a sentence below any mandatory minimum.”

While he can breathe easier about his freedom with the feds, he still has to figure out his next move. He will have a little time to figure it though, as his next court date to finalize sentencing won’t go down until January 24th, 2020.

Is this the end of Tekashi? Or will he be able to bounce back from this and keep making music?
