Court Clerk Asked Meek Mill for Money During Hearing

What is going in the Philly courts?!

A court clerk slipped Meek Mill a note asking for money during a hearing the rapper had at a Philly court. The bold move comes as the judge in his case is also being scrutinized for asking Meek for favors, including having her friend hired at RocNation and giving her a shoutout on a song she asked him to make.

The clerk, Wanda Chavarria, slipped him the note in a bold move, asking for help paying her son’s tuition. The note referenced Chavarria’s bad credit and need for help paying for her son’s tuition. TMZ obtained the note, which read, “This will probably be my son’s last semester at VCU if the tuition isn’t paid for this year and unfortunately with my bad credit, I am unable to secure a loan or cosign a loan for my son,” she wrote in the note. “Anything you can do is very much appreciated.” She then added, “Every little helps — please donate what you can to keep him attending VCU.”

There is a lot of funny stuff going on in Meek’s trial, and it’s all adding up to some pretty scandalous and potentially illegal actions that may impact his case.
