Chicago rapper Juice WRLD died after a seizure at Chicago Midway International Airport on Sunday at the age of 21.

Juice WRLD, real name Jarad Anthony Higgins, was rushed to the hospital after experiencing a seizure following a flight from California earlier in the morning. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed his death but declined further comment.

The “Lucid Dreams” singer dug deep into issues like mental illness, producing haunting records that have helped define a generation in music, leading the “emo rap” pack.

His debut album, Goodbye & Good Riddance, went platinum in 2018 and hit No. 6 on Billboard’s most popular albums chart. He worked with artists across the board, including Panic at the Disco and Future.
