LaVar Ball To Open League for High School Prospects

LaVar Ball continues to work towards expanding his brand.

Big Baller Brand will be financing the Junior Basketball Association, a league that will pay top-rated high-school players between $3,000 and $10,000 per month as an alternative to college.

After his son LiAngelo was caught up in some legal trouble when he was arrested for shoplifting in China, LaVar pulled him from the UCLA. LiAngelo and LaVar’s other son, LaMelo, recently signed contracts to play professionally in Lithuania.

LaVar’s third son, Lonzo, was the No. 2 draft and now plays with the L.A. Lakers.

The move fits in line with his business focused strategy to brand his family. It’s sure to be a popular league!
