Tyga & Former Manager Reach $1.5 Million Settlement

Tyga has agreed to pay C&J Management, his former management company, a $1.5 million settlement, TMZ reports. While the original lawsuit called for $4 million, the parties have agreed that $1.5 million will suffice, and can be paid in installments. These intsallments include a $250,000 payments made within 10 days of signing the settlement, 4 payments of $137,500, and finally a larger payment of $700,000, which is due in June 2019.

In their original suit, C&J took credit for “turning [Tyga] from a relative nobody to a world known superstar,” as well as introducing the rapper to Birdman and the Cash Money team. C&J claim Tyga illegally fired them as his representatives in 2013, which is how the suit came about.
